Dr. Khalil is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine at OrthoMichigan. He is a Michigander and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor followed by medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then remained in Detroit for five additional years of residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. He spent an additional year completing his fellowship specializing in Sports Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, where he had the opportunity to work with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, including Cleveland State University, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Gaurdians. He is passionate about helping athletes and non-athletes alike return to a high-functioning, pain-free and active lifestyle.
